Meet Our Game Masters

Keia

Adventure Writer and Game Master

Hello, I am Keia and I’ve lived in Waldwick, NJ all my life.

I first got into Dungeons and Dragons in my sophomore year of high school when I joined the RPG club alongside some friends. That same year I jumped straight into the secretary role, scheduling games and beginning to write campaigns of my own.

Ever since I was a kid I loved writing stories and creating characters inspired by all the comics, books and videogames I consumed growing up. I always kept these stories to myself but D&D soon became my creative outlet as I now hope to inspire others to create little worlds of their own.

If I had to describe my style I’d point to one of my favorite tales ever for reference: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland! Mysteries of child-like whimsy with dark undertones for all to unravel. Puzzles and tense situations to keep players on their toes. RPGs are a form of art and I believe art should invoke human emotions.

Joe

Founder, CEO, Adventure Writer, and Game Master

Hi there! My name is Joe and I’ve been a Waldwick, NJ resident since 2010.

I'm an RPG veteran that started my RPG journey in 1991. I have thousands of hours of experience, mostly as a Dungeon Master for the world’s greatest game, Dungeons and Dragons.

My favorite thing about playing RPGs is role-playing, problem solving, combat, and planning. I often throw humor into my roleplaying.

I love fantasy and science fiction books, movies, and TV, and I play lots of video games, mainly RPGs. I’ve been happily married since 2013 and my wife and I have two wonderful young children who love gaming as much as we do!

“Joe is a great DM! This is my first campaign and I had a lot of fun playing with him. He knows a lot about the game and he is very experienced. When you play with him, it shows. He is also great at doing voices! But one thing that I like about him is that he is very organized. He facilitates us in a way that makes it easy to settle into the game and enjoy it!”

- Alan

“Joe is the best!!! Incredibly thorough knowledge of game mechanics, diverse character voices, fun "Rule of Cool" stylings, immersive music prepared, and he even writes intros and recaps for each week that every player in my campaign really loves! I think it's really important to trust your DM, especially for a long-form campaign: and Joe is a DM I really trust. I especially like his creative description of attacks/combat. He elevates the whole experience from pure dice-rolling to an adventure that's very immersive.”

-Stephen

“If you're looking for someone that can bring NPCs to life with varied characterizations and well-written dialogue, make the hair stand on the back of your neck with vivid descriptions of the monsters & enemies you may run into.”

-Ty

“Very patient GM, will explain the rules and also allow further discussions of it where there is lack of clarity.”

-Jose
